Tenant / Landlord Assistance

When you contact Project Sentinel, a trained counselor will answer your questions, and discuss your rights, responsibilities and options directly with you. All discussions are free, confidential, and neutral. When appropriate, the counselor will give you information to help you contact government agencies or other resources for your situation. We strive to address your inquiry within 24 hours, or as soon as possible. If you miss us, please leave a detailed message and we will call you back. Counseling can be provided in both English and Spanish. Special accommodations may be available for for mobility, visual or hearing impairments.

*NEW OPPORTUNITY: HEARING OFFICERS NEEDED FOR NEW RENT STABILIZATION PROGRAM* (Measure V)

 

The City of Mountain View is seeking proposals from attorneys with ADR experience to serve as hearing officers pursuant to the Community Stabilization and Fair Rent Act (“CSFRA”).  Hearing officers will hear rent petitions by landlords and tenants and render decisions.  If you are interested, please apply ASAP to Project Sentinel, the designated administrator of the panel.  The link for the RFQ is listed HERE.
