Project Sentinel
Fair Housing Advocacy and Counseling
We fight against housing discrimination through education, advocacy, and enforcement of the federal and state Fair Housing laws.

Fair Housing Services

Advocacy and Counseling
We assist any tenant experiencing housing discrimination. When you call us, a staff member will discuss your housing problem and counsel you on your rights under the Fair Housing laws.
If needed, we provide advocacy to help you solve your Fair Housing needs or can provide referrals to other service agencies.

Investigation and Enforcement
We investigate housing discrimination by gathering evidence such as, collecting documents, interviewing tenants, and using secret “shoppers.”
Any tenant can file a housing discrimination complaint with federal or state agencies completely free. We can assist and potentially represent tenants in this process. We provide referrals to Fair Housing attorneys.

Education and
Outreach
We educate both tenants and housing providers on federal and state Fair Housing laws. We engage with the communities we serve by providing presentations, attending community events, and hosting workshops on Fair Housing rights and responsibilities. We keep a pulse on emerging Fair Housing housing laws and trends.
